A few years ago I replaced the low pressure pumps on my 2003 Yamaha 3.1L 200 OX with the Holley little red electric pump. Lately I have been loosing power on top end. I replaced the oxygen sensor,...
Years ago I replaced my low pressure pumps on my 2003 Yamaha 3.1 200 ox. I used the holley little red pump. Has anyone experienced this pump wearing out? Also this pump is loud. What would be a...
I have a 2003 Nitro 901CDX with a 2003 Yamaha 200 OX66. I had a Yamaha 25P M prop and the boat would easily run 65 to 66 mph, GPS at 5900rpm. But I broke 1 ear off of the prop. I replaced it with a...
I have a 2003 901CDX, I put a Yamaha 200 3.1L OX66 2003 model on it 5yrs ago. It runs great usually 66 to 67mph gps. Haven't had any problems so far. I bought the boat used, it originally came with a...
I am wanting to put new wheel bearings in my 2003 single axel Nitro trailer. The boat is a 2003 9O1 CDX. Does anyone know what size the bearings are for this trailer?
I didn't, I had about a third of a tank in my oil reservoir and topped it off the first time I used it. That was 6 years ago.
If you want your engine to burn clean and pay a reasonable price for oil, buy Pennsoil Premium or Pennsoil XLF. You can look at your exhaust hub after just one tank of gas and see how much cleaner it...
Dryer sheets in each compartment, works for cats and mice.
Thanks for all the good replies. This forum is always so helpful. I had seal problems with this unit, so I sent it out to be rebuilt. I have enough of the Quick Silver power steering fluid to refill...
Is the Quick Silver Power steering and Trim hyd oil as good to use in a Seastar steering system as the Seastar oil?
Motor Mate is the best by far.
That carbon build up is getting in your engine too. Switch to Pennzoil XLF and the inside of your prop will start to look much better after the first gallon.
Thanks Hooked again, that is exactly what it is doing.
What are some of the signs of a bad or dirty Ox sensor, and does it help to clean it? I have a 2003 200 ox66.
I just got my prop serviced by mark. From the time it left my house till I got it back was 6 days. You can't get any better service than that, and the work is second to none. Great, honest people to...
I changed my low pressure fuel pumps on my 2003 V max 200 OX66 several years ago to the single low pressure electric pump. The pump I used was a Holley Little Red, I think that was the name, anyway...
I was wanting to know if Mark Croxton is still working on props? If so I need his e-mail address.
Pennzoil XLF or Premium. Look at your prop exhaust after just 1 or 2 gallons and that black soot on the inside of the prop hub will be gone. It burns much cleaner than Yamalube or Quicksilver.
Switch to Pennzoil Premium and you will immediately see how much cleaner it is. Look at the black residue on your prop exhaust before you run the Pennzoil, then check it again after you run 2 gallons...
Install a low pressure electric pump and be done with all the lift pump problems. Take that old primer bulb off and throw it away too. I converted mine 4 years ago and have had no more problems.
Thank you A Wood, I took the card out and it worked perfectly. Now does that mean the card is bad or something wrong with the slot it goes into?
I have a Humminbird 999Ci Hd Si that has quit on me. It is hard to get any response when turning it on. Sometimes the bird symbol will light up after a delay, but that is as far as it gets. Repeated...
My son has a 1987 model Yamaha 175. He recently replaced the oil tank and ever since the engine won't shut off. It runs great but pulling the kill switch, turning the ignition switch off and even...
First make sure the unit is full of fluid. Then you have to bleed the air out of the system. It doesn't take much air in the unit to cause it to not work.
