The one photo shows how it is supposed to go on the drive shaft.. The other is just what came in the kit+ the nut

when i put it together without the little brass spacer the nut will touch the splines of the shaft and the prop will have about 1-2 inch of free play.. when i put the brass spacer on the nut tightens...

used in instructions.. i don't think the plastic part will go in any further... in the photo where you can see the thread on the shaft there is a brass washer that goes there then the nut and cotter...
