I love potato soup, and I have my late mother's recipe that is SO good. It's served in some eateries around here and normally tastes like boiled potatoes simmered in wallpaper paste.
I make mine in a pressure cooker (Insta-Pot). Takes very little time and comes out great. I use plain old stew meat, frozen veggies, couple of spices, and beef broth. Easy-peasy.
Having read the book "Crow Killer" that the movie was supposedly based on, I was, frankly, expecting much better. It's not a bad movie, but if they'd have followed the book.......WOW.
