Heat shrink instead of rod wraps??

Been using tennis racket wraps. Not really happy with the longevity of those. Looking into getting some heat shrink. There are lots of options out there. Can someone get me a link or direct me on the right path for these? Will they be tacky like rod wraps? I have all gloomis rods what size shrink will I need? Looking to buy it in rolls of diff colors if possible

I tried the heat shrink and didn't like it. Not tacky at all for me.The rod wraps were not tacking for me either. I like the tennis wraps.Change it out every year and good to go. I used 1" heat shrink. They look good just wasn't tacking enough for me. Rick

My builder uses the X pattern heat shrink...he just did it to one of my rods and I like it. It's pretty much what they use on the BPS carbonlites.
