Log sonar view

This thread is mostly directed to TEAM CoLiBRi since he has great knowledge of this problem, but please anyone give me your ideas/thoughts.
Anyway i Have a HDS CARBON with SS module and latest software to record @D,Downscan,and Side Scan.
I get very good images while recording.
My Problem is how to View the recordings.
I have Hit the Control/Play/and just get the image to stop, then pressing any button dent help, then after 30-45 seconds my Carbon restarts/accept/pages view.
I then went to Settingsstart Simulate mode/then tried same scenario,with same results all of my images have a Yellow color and very little detail from what i saw while recordings.
Not sure what step/steps i am doing wrong, and need advice.

Exact same thing happened to me. I thought I must have been doing something wrong.

have learned that format should be .sl2,so i will try that next time.
