i recently purchased a pair of bogs copperhead snake boots...neoprene, rubber with snakeproof lining....they fit slightly wide, as they dont have different widths....
rear zipper is handy. a little warm when its hot outside, but thats expected.......totally waterproof so far, if youre in a place where snakes can be an issue all year( like me) these would be the ticket http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Nikon Monark 800 range finder. Great so far, it has a mode that allows it to select the farthest target, which is great from a tree stand. Other range finders have always shown distance to limbs between me and the target and not allowed me to rande to some of the spots I would like to range. I've owned it for about 3 months, Natchezss Shooter supply has a great sale price of $219.
Bushnell Chuck Adams range finder. 2 thumbs down. mine and the only 2 others I've seen all have had segments of the display quit just after the warranty expired.
2 years, $179. Worked pretty good for about a year.

Danner Pronghorn 1200. My wife got me a pair of these boots for my B-day, I have had a chance to use them in the field and so far they are the most comfortable hunting boot I have owned. The coldest I have been in so far with these boots was in the high 20s and my feet did not get cold at all. I have always been a Rocky boot fan but these boots so far have my vote. If these boots keep performing the way I think they will I will buy a pair for early season with less insulation.

Barronett Big Mike Hunting Blind - I've used several blinds over the past couple of years, and this is hands down the best blind I've ever used. I hunt archery only now adays, and the Big Mike is designed with the archer in mind. It has a small footprint, but is tall (I'm 6'2") so I can shoot standing up. The stake pockets are on the inside of the blind so it is easy to stake down while hunting out of the blind. It is very easy to set up (takes about 5 min) and the shoot thru screens are 3 part, so if you have to replace one you only have to replace a small section, not the whole thing. It will collapse with snow on the roof, but it takes about a foot. I had one of mine get snow built up and it collapsed, and was about 3' tall and none of the rods broke or deformed. I just knocked the snow off and it was right back in shape.
Advantages:
Easy to set up
Very tough
Built in bow hangers
Stake pockets are in inside the blind
Camo loops are on the roof and outside walls for easy concealment with limbs
Tall
Only weighs about 18 pounds
Disadvantages:
The carry bag could use some tougher stitches
The zipper for the entry door is rather loud
Bow hanger is attached to the roof, so if it is cold the fabric rubs against the poles making noise.
Overall I would rate it about an 9/10 compared to the other blinds I've used. I have two at the moment, and I plan on buying another one this summer. The fact that they hold the water out so well makes hunting in bad conditions enjoyable. They conceal really well as well. I've had a blind at a cell phone tower site about 50 yards from the site, and you cant even see it through the woods, even when the leaves are off. The cost is very reasonable at about $150. I purchased mine through Cabelas, but I would buy my next one through http://www.barronettblinds.com...-Mike based solely on the fact that everything ships directly through the manuf. anyway, and it will save some shipping time. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
