Every tried the Botanist Gin
Hendricks, so smooth you can drink it straight, but I prefer mine with Key Limes and tonic with a dash of Roses Lime juice.....
Spanky
I really like Barr Hill from Vt. Back to back will make Bombay Sapphire taste pretty bad.
I have been traveling to Belgium for work about once a month...man do they know how to make some good Gin and Tonics with herbs, spices, and different botanicals...Hendricks is good. Also try Gin Mare, Hendricks's Orbium, Monkey 47, Roku, Opihr, Bombay Sapphire EAST (very different than Bombay Sapphire). Be sure to use a good tonic like Fever Tree.

Botanist is pretty good too...
Hendrick's with a lime twist is my go to all summer long.
I keep a bottle of Bombay and a bottle of Hendricks in the freezer along with my martini glasses. The olives and vermouth are in the fridge... no ice needed.
Put a drop of vermouth in the glass and swish it around, then dump it out... add the gin and two olives and let the party begin :nanner:
I really like the ideas listed in this thread. Here's one of my favorites with Irish Gunpowder Gin:
Ingredients
- 1.25 ounces Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin
- 4.5 ounces Premium Elderflower Tonic water (any good tonic will do)
- 1 thick wedge fresh red grapefruit
- 3 raspberries on a skewer
Sounds like a "Churchill Martini"; Winston said, "the only way to make a martini is with ice-cold gin, and a bow in the direction of France." Or in Kingsman where Eggsy orders a Martini while staring at an unopened bottle of vermouth. I'm not that anal about it. I do like you, swish it around the cold glass then pour it out. Gin and tonic I'm not too particular (Tanqueray or Bombay is fine) but for a Martini, I use Hedricks.

I like Gin and Ginger Beer. Actually, Gin, Ginger Beer, a lime and some Mint is a great summer drink. Kind of like a cross between a Mojito and a dark and stormy, but with gin.
It started as Moscow Mules but with Gin. But I added the mint a little later. So good I now have fresh mint growing in the yard.
