Actually one that has been B&B would be better since the 24 Tempest's are usually off out of the box.
But if it's worked, you might not be getting numbers that are good for your boat. Better to get a stock one, see where you are, then send it off to be worked. I bought a used worked Tempest Plus earlier this year and when I sent it to Mark, he said it was poorly worked and he didn't have enough to work with, so it is an expensive paperweight. I would never sell it to someone else knowing that, so I ate it.
I know for me, I'll never buy a used worked prop again.....
