That sucks.
Yeow! Let's hope he doesn't have to wait long for a replacement nowadays.
I guess he had bad Karma. He finished second to last among the boaters. He felt the impact, stopped, raised the motor and just thought he only had prop damage. It is a new 200 Merc 4s with about 15 hours on it.
Anyone know the wait time on a new LU?
If that was West Point, that was dumb. It’s down pretty low right now. Also, it’s really not hard to stay in the channel there….
It was Lake Allatoona and it is 15 feet low. It is a bit sketchy in places but pretty normal for this time of year.
That's not a good start to the tournament season
Ouch!!!
Probably about 6 to 8 months to get a new one
:roll: Good Quote he was probably thinking he could brag all week about passing that Kitty anD his Great Boat Driving Skills.
I’m sure someone will come along to say “ Well at least he had the B_lls to try and beat someone to the best spot even though it’s going to cost some big bucks to fix”.
That would make me puke if it was my rig.
Where did he finish in the tournament?
I hope its enough to cove his deductible.
If he was passing a Ranger this would have never happened........
OUCH
Never worth the risk. Guess at speed he still had enough water flow into the nosecone and pump was still good.
Thats not good.
Toast
Don't do that.
