Slit a noodle and wrap across top of windshield helps that area too.
good idea. I don't have a garage and I use my cover every day. I need something to cover the US2 in the trolling motor. It seems to put pressure on the cover there as well.
Try a fat wool sock.
Great idea
I have about ten towels that I put in multiple places when I install the cover. They are folded about one inch thick. They work well.

I took an old basketball and cut a slit in it and slide over my MG prop and skeg.
Great idea with the pool noddle. My TM stows prop out, so I take the prop off before I put on my Aurora cover. Think I'll add a piece of 3/8" PVC and a cap inside a pool noodle to cover the bare shaft. Already using a split pool noodle on the windshield. The Aurora has heavy lining sown in, but the cover slips over easier.
To protect my cover from my tm prop, I took an old prop cut the blades off even with hub and sanded the nubs smooth then just put the hub on.
