The Livewell Pulls are a great easy to get to design but when you have a partner step on them at the right/wrong time they break
The only issue I ever had and it didn't show its ugly head until later http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif Small issue as They never got hot (metal) or you didnt have to worry about the pull being locked http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Your Basshawk won't have them and is of a different birthright. BassHawk has a strong Hull BTW http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Anyone knows someone with a Hawk Navigator PLEASE let me know!!!!!!!!!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif
Re: Hawk Boats. (signmanbasser)
Any relation to Cobra Boats? They look like almost the same hull.

I'm pretty sure they are both John Storie designs. I had a Viper by John Storie and have seen a Hawk around here. Lots of similarities. Good boats http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Re: Hawk Boats. (JoeBro44)
Yes both John Storie designs, and yes very similar. AWESOME boats. I'd like to see all the Hawk owners post some pics. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif

Got a J&B 10 on her now. I have heard 8" is the way to go. I may do that oiver the winter, have to pull the tank to get to the btm. Jackplate bolts. A royal pain in the you know what.
How much gain could one expect?
Re: Hawk Boats. (Hawkman)
The answer to this lies in balance Most have seen 2+mph and a lower cruise speed not to mention increased (if you could imagine) handling.
Notice the 11th down in the Hawk Owners "goingx2wild" was one of my Hawks http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Re: Hawk Boats. (crich84)
I have a 2000 super 1950. Has a 1997 Mer 200 efi. latest upgrade and well worth the money is the Humminbird 998 si on the console. Love the ride and the full front deck
it runs about 60mph at 5800 rpm.
Re: Hawk Boats. (beezerbassman)
With that set up you should be in the low 70's loaded http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Re: Hawk Boats. (signmanbasser)
I agree you should have some more speed than that.
Re: Hawk Boats. (HAWKHPDI)
The first hull I had under it, I was getting the 70+ mph in speed. This one weighs about 800 lbs more. I still love it great riding boat.
