Got to run a '19 920 w/ Merc 4st this weekend. All stock including the 24p Fury 3. Twin poles, 4 batteries, 3/4 fuel, normal tackle load, 85 degrees and high humidity. Had her turning little over 6k rpms (don't know exact as all it had was stock gauge) at 76 mph gps. Only 2 hrs so it was the first and only time I got to really air it out. Definitely more left in her with cool air, prop work and if i had more time dialing in what she wants but still put up stout numbers for a new rig in summer.

What is the red line on the 250 Four stroke? Also, should I go to a 24 Fury? I am new at this part so any help is appreciated.
The new V8s turn down power to keep rpm at redline. I would say a 24 is best for most 920s. I run a 25 but I run lithiums. So it just depends on how your loaded.
2014 619 \ 200 pro xs. 5800 rpms tourney load with 2 people only hittin about 65 mph. should I be faster? Not sure on p2p but I only have about 15 pounds of water pressure
My 819 runs 68 loaded to the max,ptp is 3" and wp about 15.

78 MPH @ 6000 RPMs and I'm pretty sure it will hit 80 once I find the sweet spot. Jack plate gauge was on 13 and trim was 2 bumps off full trim up. Water pressure was over 20#.. She starts walking around 75 but coming from a Triton, I'm used to it.
This has to be the smoothest riding boat I've ever been in!!
