Fished the river mainly. everything after the 49 bridge. found that the red clay banks held most of the fish along with the shale banks. drop shot in general, threw a jig didnt get bit. any questions let me know. hopefully im not the only thread poster in california!!!!!
I look in here every once in a while, hey do you know what the bluegill and crappie do this time of the year at Clear Lake?
not really a crappie and blue gill kinda guy but i hear that they stage and congregate anywhere there's structure or cover (docs).
Have not been up to Melones for a couple of years now like about 4. Live in Stockton too.
Anyone know the best way to find Crappie at this lake?
