I have three largemouth over 10.. A 13.8 a 11.15 and a 10.3 and one smallmouth at 9.7.. My most memorable one is the smallmouth I caught in in 2001 and it is still the S.C. state record today.. I know it will fall to a bigger one some day I just hope it's by more than a once or two and it goes to someone who has put the time and effort into fishing for it..
Mine was 10lb.13oz.Came back in March 96' from O.H.Ivie in Texas. We kept her in the bait tank at the marina overnight and released her the next morning. It was the first bite and first fish I caught in Texas! What a Trip! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

9.1 from a Ms. private (not enhanced in any way) 50 acre lake...black Jelly Worm.
Some over 13 from the Natchez State Park in its heyday...now management and lake building is so much better BUT I was told by the District Fisheries man that "after 9 years its done"...which means it has to be lowered and started over again...he said...
record about 17+ there I think...guys just kept going and going and going (36 acre lake) until they got a 10+.
No replica program then like Tx now either so they were gone 4 ever...with their eggs and genetic potential.
