Kinda looks like a car sitting on a road bed.
Looks like a VW bug? Thats a great image!
Thank you very much for posting that me Wayne!!!
It is at the bottom of a boat ramp and my thoughts exactly are that it's a car. I called the local police and they said they would see if they felt like investigating it or not. I couldn't believe their response. But I wanted to get others thoughts on what they thought it was.
Thanks everyone...
image from a onix 8 si ct unit.
Totally a car. I would pull it out myself if they dont in a week. Never know what's in it till you look
If it is a car, why is it translucent in the SI view? It should be a stronger return since it is made of metal, right?
What unit is that? Onix?
You aughta be able to pass over it & get a lot better shot than that....Juss sayn!!!
I'd almost say some type of small suv but that's just not a good enough shot to make that call....
Hell it's only in 14 foot of water, take a swim and see for yourself . Just kidding, it does look like a vehicle though in the SI views but the DI Views not so sure.
Looks like an insurance job to me! Haha. It does look like a car of some sort. Surprised the police responded like that.
Yes, it was a screen shot that I used my cell phone to take a picture of so I could get Wayne's input on, since he she's tons of images all the time..
Thanks again Wayne, you are such a valuable asset to us normal folks on here!!!
Mastodon!!!
looks like a Mazda 3 hatchback
If it has been in the water a long time silt and algae with absorb much of the sound waves and take the brightness out due to lack of roughness and hardness which is crucial for a good image. If Skeeter can go back, and get further away, and image from several angles, from the target a better image will be obtained. Being very close will distort your return.
There is a little story on Facebook about this and how a fishermen found it with his depth finder electronics..Car was located and pulled out of the lake ....
Not a crazy idea. Read this ...... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...cades-ago.html
