These boats look great and seem to perform quite well in other areas besides just going fast. Are there any build videos, plant tours, pics etc of how they are built?

There is some stuff on the ballistic boats Facebook page....I have actually worked on one of these boats (installed electronics) and been able to run and fish out of these boats.....Fit and finish is better than any boat I have ever seen, and I have messed with every brand. It rides great, but best part is that it is a mega stable fishing platform. Really impressed all the way around with the boat.
Joe,
I'll try and get a walk through video posted up tomorrow on the boat. Like Gentry said in the post above, there are lots of video's/photo's/info on Ballistic Boat's Facebook page. Other great source is Ballistic Owners Facebook page. I'll try and find the video's on the Vaccum infusion process when Jim is building the boat- it's pretty dang neat!

Here is just a very important part of the build process - Vacuum Infusion- not vacuum formed, but Infusion - Using 100% Vinyl Ester Resin and Vaccum Infusion, the strenght of Ballistic Hulls are improved by 11X!! 100% vinly ester resin, Carbon Fiber, and Kevlar combined with the infusion process creates the strongest, lightest hulls possible.
Looks impressive
I don't own one but have been following them for a while and I can tell you there isn't currently and has never been a better built boat. What he's doing is truly extraordinary
can boats be ordered is almost any color wanted?
Yes
Am I seeing that correctly?? Is there any chopped fiberglass used? How is the resin applied to the sheets of fiberglass? Or is that a step missed in these pics? That's pretty cool and looks to be labor intensive setting up all those hoses.
The resin goes through all those hoses into the bag and is forced through all the layers of glass and carbon fiber. It looks like a few different types of glass with what looks like Bi and Tri directional mat. Once the resin goes into all the glass the same tubes suck all the excess resin and air of the same bagging system which leaves just the right amount of resin to bind it all together as tightly as possible.
