Looking at buying a used pontoon, Carpet and seats need replacing. Which is better to go back with? Carpet, Vinyl or non skid? The floor is wood and looks in great shape...I'm concerned about going back with carpet, getting wet on wood floor.....

Just replaced our carpet with the Marideck vinyl. We bought the heavier weigh vinyl as it covers more floor imperfections. Vinyl takes a bit more work and I had to sand the wood floor before installing but we love it. We'll never have carpet on another pontoon. :thumb up2:
some type vinyl, mine has carpet!
Another vote for vinyl. Would love to get rid of the carpet on my Southbay. Otherwise, we love it.
Vinyl would be my vote. We have it on our Avalon. Didn't even consider carpet!!
prob not an option but my benny came with seagrass. it's awesome
Is vinyl or the marine type flooring that's being referenced hot on bare feet in the summer?
My Benning fishing toon, has the thick rubber type floor, maybe its vinyl, i dunno, but i wouldn't even look at a toon if it had carpet when i was buying
Carpet imo.
Anything BUT carpet. :thumb up2:
