Ok, let's say injectors are getting dirty? What would be the symptoms?
Mine seems to run great as of now but the only thing I feel like I am missing for a complete fuel system service is not having them cleaned and it's a 2000 225hp ox66..I'm sure they have never been cleaned. Once in a great while it will die at idle when going into gear.. but I wonder if it's just the nature of the beast.
Re: Fuel Injector Cleaning (smkur50)
The symptoms would be similar to having a clogged filter - it would act like it was starving for fuel.....and it probably would die at idle on occasion. It could also go the other way - if there was trash in there holding the pintle open, letting gas leak into the intake - therefore running a little rich.
Bottom line is if you have never had them cleaned, the time has come my friend! You are waaay overdue. It only takes me a day to do it and you are close to us anyway. Give me a call if you want to send them in.

Haveing the injectors cleaned is cheaper then a rebuild http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

Matt,
This is Gene with the HPDI 225 (Fall Creek Marina). It's time to check the head bolts. Is there anything I need to know about get to the bolts under the fuel racks?
