If you live north of the Mason/Dixon line, a 10 pounder is almost impossible. The current state record largemouth in Pa. is a little over 13 # Sure would like to catch a 10 # toad though!

I have one 11.11 off Lake Fork in 2003. Caught it while watching her on a bed with a white tube. She was in the slot at 23.75 inchs and I placed her back in the water and watched her go back to the bed, it was awesome! Had a replica made from Lake Fork Taxidermy which was better than the two real fish I had mounted. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

Its hard to find a 10 lber in the NE
quite a few times, except they were the kind of bass that swim up the river in early to mid spring
4 over 10 with personal best 12lb 2oz. All from small waters though. Several in the 8lb plus range are my best from big lakes. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
I am in the thirteen pound club http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif With a 13 pound 3 oz.
I have been fishing in central Florida since I was 8, other then the time I moved to Oklahoma and toured around riding bulls. I have only had 7 others that I know would have been ten pounds or bigger. I have had many break my line that I would think would have been big, but who knows.( Of the eight ) 3 were on a buzz bait, 2 on zara spook, 1 on rattle trap and 1 on Whopper Craw. It is something how they can shake a hook. Other then the big one all my bass catches have been from in the eight pounds and down.
NOT YET
