Hey Guys,
I picked up a new Ultrex and will be swapping out my Terrova when my boat comes out of storage. I currently have my Terrova mounted on a MKA-47 Plate and was wondering if the holes will line up with the Ultrex. I was also wondering if I will have to reposition the new trolling motor since it is a different style of motor? Any help is greatly appreciated!
According to numerous threads in this forum the holes will line up. As to it being on your boat satisfactorily, that is up to you.
Take a look at the manual. I know that the hole patterns are different. If you use the the MKA- 47 mount bracket(which I don't recommend) It should be fine. It would better to mount the troll motor direct the the boat.
