Thinking about replacing my HB 798 with a 93sv, but I read about some people having interference problems when mounting on the trolling motor. I have a minncota maxx 70 and have never had any problems with the HB, can expect the same with the 93sv?

There is no way to tell ahead of time. Its not a matter of one brand of sonar working differently. Its a matter of the trolling motor working differently and the details of the install. One guy will have issues with HB on that motor and another guy wont and a 3rd guy will have issues with his Lowrance and a 4th guy will be perfect on every brand of sonar and a 5th guy will have no luck with any brand of sonar = all on the same exact trolling motor model and year and the same exact boat even.
Long time Lowrance and I just bought Panoptix 22Tr and 93sV from Brian at BBG - Great service as always. I have 2005 MG109? Tour Edition and no interference anywhere.
