Well the Stupid Tubeheads work, I caught a 5 1/2 pounder a couple of weeks ago. He smashed it. Ripping those tubes off of the bottom and letting them sink back down is becoming one of my go to techniques, it seems every time I throw it its a sure thing I'll catch several. I'll be ordering more when my stock gets a little low. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

What sizes do you recommend? I fish normally docks in 20ft or less. what is paypal address?
Re: A.C.T. Lures, Stupid Tubeheads (dchance)
What size jig do you normally throw?
That's what I ask guys when they ask me.
Personally I throw 3/16 oz most of the time.
Lighter the more action the tube has

I normally throw tubes with a small bell sinker inserted for the same action, but it has been so long that I bought the bell sinkers I don't remember how big they are. I typically throw a 3/8-12 oz jig probably. finess jigs are 5/16
I was leaning toward 1/4 oz tube heads but wasnt sure if I bump it up to 5/15 or down to 3/16. Woult the 1/4 be a good overall weight. I love skipping docks with these.
will these fit most standard tube sizes? I have a lot of powerbait flippin tubes. with the bulkier tube would you go a little heavier?

Re: A.C.T. Lures, Stupid Tubeheads (dchance)
1/4 oz is a good universal size!
It will feel heavier then that with a tube rigged on it.
How long are the power tubes?
These heads work best with a 4" or longer tube.
If you like flipping docks, little secret I learned last year, take a 1/8 oz STH in a white or shad colored tube and flip the docks. Don't let it sink to the bottom, but walk the dog with it under the dock, its deadly at looking like a wounded baitfish, works awesome around laydowns too
