I picked up my 2021 18 TRX with the 200 v8 pro xs this afternoon. It has a 22 fury on it. Any guesses on how that prop will run? Thanks in advance.

It should run quite well. Around 70 mph if you can drive it.
Other props with good results include Bravo FS 24 pitch and Tempest Plus 23 Pitch. I have a Tempest Plus 22P as a backup and it runs good also.
My son has a Tempest plus 23 pitch on his new 18 Trx and it runs well .
Curious what gear ratio your 200s have
1.75
Mine came with a 24” fury and ptp at 5”- I kept raising it and am currently at 2” ptp- still only getting 66 mph and 5800 rpm- trying to find someone with a 23 to try
24 fury is 100% the wrong prop and pitch for the 18 TRX with a 200.
100%, no idea why they still put these on, they just won’t rev!
Keen to hear your max rpm and speed, they are several, probably more than reported that are fighting to get this engine to max rpm and it’s not the prop, not all but some just won’t rev, even after all throttle checks etc
I just got my TRX 18 on June 3. 200 hp 4 stroke came with 22 tempest. Still in the break in. I have 6 hrs on it and 4 left. I have opened her up a few times for a few seconds with a tournament load and 2 people, livewells full, gas full etc....I saw 65 mph. once. mostly 62-64. rpms 5900-6150. hole shot is great. I assume with me in it by myself and 1/4 tank no livewells it will hit 70 no problem.
I have a 24 fury on my 200 proxs, 2018 model trx. It's great outta the hole. I run 63-64 with a full load. And that's without me having to get up on the wheel and saw. Just a good smooth drive and ride. I'm getting more than enough rpms. Anymore and I would max out. That is fast enough for me considering the good drive and ride. I never caught a bass going over 3mph, and I dang sure ain't gonna catch one going 70mph. I don't want to saw on the wheel just to get to a fishing spot. Speed is all about ego, which is fine for the guys that want to do it. But to say the pitch and prop is wrong is not based on facts. Too many set up differences to apply 1 comment for all.
double post sorry
The 24 fury is wrong for the 200 4s and the 18 TRX and based on facts.
I wouldn't know, but I could see the 24 being way too much pitch for that 200 hp. 4 stroke. It seems that the 22 is perfect on my TRX 18.
Does anybody know if the boats come from the factory with props? Or do the dealers pick the props? I’ve noticed that some here got theirs with a 24 fury, and some with a 22 tempest plus. Mine came with a 22 fury and I haven't seen anybody that has posted about running that particular prop.
good question. I think they come from the factory with those props
This is the truth. Many of us did a lot of testing to determine this, it is a fact. and for the previous poster to post that he can go 64 miles an hour without having to drive it, is ludicrous. Mine will do 70 miles an hour maybe faster and is effortless to drive up to about 66 miles an hour. So that statement he made was just ignorant. If I were wide open throttle and only got 64 mph with my 18TRX, I would be extremely disappointed. My 18TRX isn’t even working at 66 miles an hour, and it’s effortless to drive. If you’re not going to prop it right, why buy it……. Optimize what you have, it only makes sense.
they come with a prop, but when your boat is new you should be able to tell the dealer what prop you want. I’ve got a 23 tempest and I am very happy with it. Mine also came with the Fury, my dealer changed it out no questions asked. I think the 22 gets similar results. My advice is to get rid of that Fury based on many people on this forum running them.
It's looking like I will not see 70 even by myself. 63-65 is what i am seeing with 2 people and 1/2 tank of gas. I can't see picking up that much speed by loosing one person. I think I am looking at maybe 68. Not sure
