I have never timed mine but they keep my fish in good shape. Fill your livewell at home and set it to timed recirculate. Check it for proper operation.
I might be wrong but I think when they are set in the auto mode they are on thirty seconds, then off two minutes.
Shotgun shell timers are on for 1 minute and off 2 minutes.
Do you have just an auto/man switch or do you have 3 switches like
my 96 and 97 has, off/fishing, auto/man switch and a timer switch of 2.4.6 settings?
check and make sure you have steady power from the switches.I thought my timer
was bad and ended up being the auto side of my switch corroded. It should
kick on as soon as you select auto, run a minute then off up to 6.I say that
because i don't know the model timer you have and mine is off a max of
6 minutes. From there it should run the same cycle until the battery dies.
I have an auto/manual switch/
Where did you get the new timers?
