The nc schedule went to the south end of the mule in a hurry. opps. I can't post that.
Well it should work for the SC followers.
    Humm, less said is more.
This is not what I was hoping from skeeter.

I cant afford to do both anyhow and do not own a Skeeter...so I will have to pick my battles in 2013 and not do 100% of any trail.

This isn't from Skeeter...it's from CATT, Foothills Marine, Palmetto Boat Center and Marshalls Marine...I make the schedules...Skeeter has no input...and we're having the Championship on Kerr this year..can't go back there again next year...got to rotate it around.

Yea I agree I understand not having the championship two years in a row on the same place but i have to agree the supposed to be nc trail might as well be called the just the other side of the state line trail. Somehow the best three lakes in the state were left out.....i would almost be willing to bet that if u had a cbc tournament on Kerr in April or may you would have had over 250 boats.

You guys have got to understand I've had guys loyal to the CATT trail since 1997...and I am going to be loyal to them...the other thing is the 3 dealerships that are making the CBC possible have to keep the trail somewhat in their territory for now..they are contributing tons of $$ along with 3 Skeeter boats...now here's the deal...I do everything concerning CATT and the CBC as far as getting everything in order, permits, schedules, website, yada yada. There are only so many people who are willing to run tournys...I wanna fish too! ..but I can't because it's so time consuming...finding help to run all these tournys is a job in itself....if I add more tournys up there then I need more people which can present a problem...there are 13 CBCs next year...hard to find someone to commit to 13 Saturdays...adding more qualifiers at this time is impossible...anyway we decided not to branch out too fast...I'm sure later we will add another qualifier to the schedule and it will probably be Kerr...just stand by..it's coming.

I understand, I think a lot of guys myself included were real excited when we heard the possibility of the Skeeter trail coming our way. In the mind of us raleigh area guys we thought we might be looking at an old nbc style schedule. We got a little jumpy as we have not had a solid good money trail in our area since 2007.

Hang with me it's coming...I've just got to find the right people with computer skills who can run the plasma TV's we set up at each tourny..things like that...all the guys I know want to fish....I run the scales and I have 2 top notch guys who bump the fish...I'm going to try and bump up the payback on the Old North Trail...let me see what i can do.

Looks good to me. There will always be some people that like it and some that wanted it to come to their home lake. It looks like the whole state of NC is covered. It will take huge weights to win any of the events because you are going at the right times for each lake and everbody that fishes them will be able to catch alot of fish during those time. I for one love to fish Kerr but really Kerr is mostly in Va and Harris is small and has a slot limit. I think you picked the right lakes and you will have a huge turnout this year. Thanks Brett for all of the hard work you have done getting this trail together. I look forward to fishing them next year.

i'm with jamie.that's as good a schedule as you can put together.this is the BEST team tournament trail there has EVER been in this area.Brett is a great guy who works his backside off to put on top notch event.i think you picked the right lakes at the right times as well.there should be some incredible stringers weighed in.as far as boats go,i think he'll have no problem drawing 200 boats at all of his CBC tournaments.thanks Brett for putting this together for us.

Nice schedule. I think you might have a big tourney rookie joining for a few of the NC dates. Will force me to get off the yadkin lakes to see different water. Much respect to you and your team for putting on these trails.

I wouldnt go that far! Its a great deal and I plan on fishing them but there have been trails in the region where you fished for a boat in a multiple day format for a $300 entry fee EVERY tournament.

may-be rusty but was their payouts outs as great? and were are they now, today! you have fished enough rusty to know the possibilities of this tournament /rewards to the fisherman . no other tournament around is paying out more than they take in..and feeding the fisherman and weigh in-watchers.and then giving away 3 skeeter boats 2 at division finals and one for the championship with up to $7000.00 incentives per tournament for some fisherman. Then all the entry fee pay-back...maybe in Texas you can find trails like this but no were around here.

Yadkin, you're right, unfortunately Mr. Rhyne's trail went away for whatever reasons and hasnt been around for years(wish it was).

As I said I will be fishing the CBC, I think its the best thing going in the Carolinas currently.

I just wish we (bass tournaments and fishermen) could get past the point where the folks running the tournaments are making thier money off the fisherman and to the point where they are making thier money from the sponsors(kinda like the PGA).

I wondered the other day...people dont go through all this work for free...if it is 100% pay back...how is money made off these tournaments? I am not trying to get in anyones business...I am just a wondering mind. Kudos to whoever puts the time in and makes the profit.

My .02...if I put in all the effort of a 1-2 a month tourny, all the time I invested setting the dates, getting the permits, setting up at ramp about 2 hrs before blastoff, staying an hour after weigh in, dealing with children (some in tourny at times) who have total petty problems, deal with real problems, handle the $$, sponsors, advertising....damn skippy I am gonna make it worth my time.

The Thurs nite wildcats we put on is easy and 100% payback. Rusty and I do not make a penny off of it. But to have what Phil or Brett has....yes sir I will make $$.

CBC pays back 100% of all entry fees plus what the sponsors put into each tourney. The money they charge for membership prolly goes to pay for all the food they have for the fisherman
