    How about Lucas Oil products

Does anyone use these? Specifically, the 2-stroke oil. Just wondering how people feel it compares to Optimax DFI oil. My motor is out of warranty so I don't have any concerns in that regard.

If you run the opti dfi oil now best to just stick with it IMO. Its what merc recommends so they must for a reason.

Thanks, I have read the thread on oils, fuels and the like. Truthfully, DFI is probably easier forme to find anyway. I was just curious about experiences that others may have had with Lucas oils.

Dont know anybody running the outboard oil but I know I love their products for my vehicles. Their marine grease for the trailer hubs is second to none IMO and I like the motor oils for my hot rod.

Lucas' reputation as a company is top notch for lubrication--at least in automobiles and trucks. Many "big name" oil additives and engine products don't work nearly as well as Lucas Products.

I wouldn't think negatively about anything they put out.
