    Proper Gear Lube an capacity for my Optimax?

    2004 Optimax 135, serial number OT 932413. I can't find it in my manual, can anyone tell me the proper gear lube to use in my lower unit and the capacity?

    Purchase one quart of Mercury or Quicksilver High Performance Gear lube (and a suitable pump).

    You will use less than 1 quart (normally around 22.5 oz on this model).
