Sears DieHard Platinum Group Size 31M - Question.

For those of you who are using this battery to crank your 250 Pro XS, what type of battery tray are you using to hold this battery? The specs on the battery look like it is slightly larger than some of the battery trays that are listed to be designed to hold group 31 series batteries.

    Thanks for any info.

I had the same problem when I bought the DieHard Platinum 31. I finally found a tray for it at the local Bass Pro Shop.

YES YOUR RIGHT JIM 4. HAVE NOT HAD BATTERY TROUBLE SINCE I PUT THE PLATINUMS IN. WHEN I BUY BATTERIES I LOOK AT RESERVE CAPACITY AND WARRANTY. HARD TO BEAT 205 RESERVE AND 3 YEARS OF WARRANTY. I LOOKED AT THE GROUP 31 OPTIMAS AND THE RESERVE WAS ONLY 180 MINUTES AND THATS NOT CUTTING IT.

I added the plat this spring. It is a heavy sucker, but I just strapped it in real tight. It is not perfectly level, but it doesn't move in my z21. I have three optimas for the troller, but I am not sure if I am sold on these, but they do weigh a lot less.
