Was watching some structure scan on my pc sonar viewer and this is impressive to say the least. I really didnt see half of the stuff that is on this recording when I made it. Any way to overlay this on my map?

I have the maps on my pc from navionics and was wondering if there is anyway I can overlay the structure scan maps from the sonar viewer on these. I am watching these maps on my pc. Thanks
I don't think there is a way to overlap the structure map onto your navionics map on your PC. There might be a way to convert it to work with the Navionics program, but I would give them a call and ask if there is a way bud.

bloodman I see the same kind of thing on recording. I have checked out various ways to work with it. What I do is use the simulator on my hds8, select down, side, 2d sonar, and the map. I watch the screens and when I see something that needs marked I can look on the map and see if it already has a wpt. If no then I can mark it and keep on watching. It puts the wpt right in the file with the others that are already there.
One thing I have learned from doing this is to make short recordings so I won't have to sit in the boat long enough for my wife to come out and laugh at me.
Just thought it would be pretty cool to be able to use it on my home pc. Still I can see how the sonar viewer can be useful. Much larger picture of the images with ability to pick out some stuff that was missed. It also gives you long/lat so I can manually put it on the map.
