    Otter Lake

I am running the USA Bassin circuit again this year on Otter lake. It is a sleeper lake that not too many people know about and it doesnt get too much pressure. Most tournaments it takes around 20lbs to win. The lake has plenty of grass, shallow cover, deep cover and rock to fish. Hope to see you guys out there.

Nice job dominating in 2012. I fished the first year of USA on that lake. The HP restriction and launch fee keeps me from coming back. I agree it is a nice lake/ 20 lbs "Most" tournaments??????

Between you and me you could probably get away without paying the launch fee after the first tournament. You didnt hear that from me though. I admit they are a bit steep. Ok maybe not 20lbs most tournaments but close to it. High teens anyways. Big fish live in that lake. The local biologist said in his Spring surveys he had lots of fish over 7lbs.

You better have 15 lbs if you want to even think you have a chance. It is a great lake, we fished 3 USA Bassins there last year, first time ever on the lake, fished 3 completely different ways and had limits all 3 times, and improved weight each time. Got a 2nd with 15lbs (to Ben's 20 lbs) and a 1st with 17 lbs. We'll be qualified for the regional through Coffeen this year but we're definitely going to make a few Otter tourneys because the fishing is worth the trip.
