Need help with color on wiggle wart

I know this doesn't have anything to do with a boat but alot of guys look at this forum. A buddy of mine had a old original wiggle wart and I can seem to find anything about it. It's blue back with chartreuse and really bright orange on the belly. Also has the fire tiger stripes on the side of it. I have googled and look every were and can't seem to find anything. If anyone knows what it's called or and info it would be nice. All I know is that it really catches fish lol.

Take some good pictures of it and send them to a custom painter and he can match the color in whatever crankbait you want.

Thanks for the color chart but I still don't see it. Idk maybe it was already a custom painted bait.

My eyes arent very good and I cant tell from he chart posted above...but you may have a special run color that will normally start with a VSP such as VSP-90 for Missouri Craw (one of the more popular regional/special run colors). Hard to say without a pic.

We are not in eastern ky lol. We were in south central ky. And it's hard for me to take a picture of this dang bait while I'm at work The color is none of the ones shown in the pic above and it's not a custom paint. Just an old pre-rap wart I've had for a LONG time

Here's a top and bottom view of the VSP-90 Missouri Craw...sometimes referred to as the "holy grail" of vintage Warts. If you lived in the Ozarks back in the day, chances are you have a few of these...or atleast you wish you did!

Based on your description, I think you're wanting the Wiggle Wart pictured below. The Wiggle Wart is model V216, which is color Blue Hot Tiger. Unfortunately, identifying the bait was the easy part. That's a tough bait to locate. They rarely even show up on eBay, and they aren't cheap when they do.

There is another option for you though. You can buy the Brad's Wiggler #99 which is as close as you'll get to the pre-Rapala V216 without spending big bucks. Here is the link for Brad's website: Brad's KILLER Fishing Gear - Brad's Wiggler Series Lures

Let me know if I guessed correctly, and if there's any kind of prize.

If this is the color that was a walleye/salmon color for the great lakes. I used to have some, bought them at rickards tackle in Catawba, oh.

I have over 1k wigggle warts, They are the Best Bait ever made. When Scott sold the mold to Rapala it was a sad day. WW would make a lot of custom baits for several guys on the tour. After the run they would sell them or the guys who worked for them would take and sell some of the baits. If you have a VSP-90 put them away!!!!!! But the bait you described sounds like the one stated above V216 Hot Blue Tiger. As for the custom paint, yes Tim Huges or Brad can paint it to match or better, but its not the paint its the bait. YOU HAVE TO HAVE ORGINAL WIGGLE WART BAITS TO START WITH. Pre- Rapala plastic is what you will need. Good luck findind any back in the day you could pick them off for 2/3 bucks now Ebay has most going for 12-15dollars for shit baits, throw in a 15 dollar paint job on it and..... About 6 years ago before they went crazy i was buying used baits all Pre-rapala on ebay as fast as they could list them. Tim Huges paints one of the best if not the best phantom craw in brown or green. I will put this bait aginst any and it will prevail. When the Bass tour was on lake Erie a few years back i took some of the guys out and gave them a lesson on the phantom wiggle wart.. If this is not the color you have take a pic, Some one will find it, i have 6 model year dealer boards framed in my man cave. i had a buddy who was rep........................ yep a rep hence the 1k baits..

Hi , I hope I am in the right place to ask a few questions on wee and wiggle warts. first let me give you a brief history. I am selling a load of fishing stuff for a friends who has passed away. He has about 100+ warts and over 4000+ other crank baits of all types. I sold 32 wiggle warts for $2 each. I see that was a mistake... I have now found out that they are collectible. There are 15 wee warts in an original package. The label is red and the color is X-63. Here is the question.... I can't find anything on the X-63. could this be a typo on the label? What would be a fair price to sell them. Is there a board on here to sell fishing stuff? This board is huge and I get lost quickly. Thanks for helping, Alan
