Thanks for posting, guys. Great looking boats.
I know that by doing the restoration on your boats, that you feel proud of your efforts. And these are like the classic cars of bassboats. Restorations don't have to be done all at once. If money or time is a factor, you do it as you can. I can't for the life of me, understand the need or desire of a new baot, when an older one can be restored to new condition for soo little money compared to the cost of a new one. No payments, much cheaper insurance, pride of your efforts and being different, too. I love it!
The work you guys did really shows...They should turn heads anywhere you go. ....John
This is a 1985 Hydra-Sports Lotus with a 150 Merc Black Max. It runs like a sewing machine at top speed of 55 mph. Very little repairs in the 9+ years I have had it. I added a HS windshild last fall and HS decals. Will try to get a newer picture this month.
1984 Bass Tracker Tournament TX with 2006 Mercury 50 hp. The darned thing won't die so I can justify buying a new one. I put a new 55# Minn Kota Maxxum on it a couple of years ago. Added a Humminbird 798 CI SI at the console and a 788 CI at the bow. Installed a Dual Pro 2 bank charger and a livewell timer. I also added LED lights to the trailer and a Trophy stainless stainless steel prop.
