    G force trolling motor handle?

I bought one and got it in the other day and I thought it was for all trolling motors but it looks like it is made for motor guide not so much for minn Kota. I have a minn Kota and was wondering the best way to attach it. I figured someone on here has ran into this problem and figured out a way to attach it to the eye on trolling motor.

I recently installed one on my Motorguide and the process was fairly easy. The installation instruction sheet that came with it has photographs showing how to install on both MG and MK, but the photos were reversed! I emailed the company and got back an "Oops, sorry!" response.....

Not familiar with the workings of a MK, but the product is just a plastic coated steel cable with a small steel ball attached at the end. You run the other end (without the steel ball) through the TM locking mechanism and pull it through until the steel ball snugs up to that locking mechanism. Then, on the other end, you slide on the plastic handle then attach a ss "end" to it with two allen screws. The plastic handle then covers that end up.

I know that's probably clear as mud, but maybe you get the idea.......

I just installed this on my Motorguide. Excellent product! Glad someone finally came out with a quality replacement cord. Highly doubt I'll ever have to replace it. By the way, there are video instructions on YouTube if you need some better instructions. Huge thumbs up on this product!

I installed mine on my minn kota edge, it is not a straight pull because the minn kota has a hole sideways but it works fine.

I got mine on my maxxum. It's a pretty straight forward install. Not sure what's not working for you?

I installed on My MK - just make sure you attach a pull wire when you start - super simple that way and you don't have to take anything apart.

Got one when they first came out. On the first models, the ball was a little too small for my Fortrex. I put a small tie wrap and it's worked fine. I contacted TH Marine about it and they said the next models fixed that issue. Outstanding product.

They put two different washers in the package now.

Well folks maybe i'm a little too cheap or handy but you can buy everything to make this at lowe's for $10-$12. I bought one at the cup last summer and once I got it home and saw what it was I was not happy. Do not buy one go to lowe's and make it your self

I used the above handle with some coated cable from Lowe's and a small cable clamp on my MK Maxx.

Some of the older minn kotas have an a small eye boat you have to loop the cable around. The newer ones have a hole to go through, tie a knot for a rope or a cable stop for cable
