I will do my very best to explain my question.
The foot and the head need to be adjusted 180 degrees......I bent a outer shaft on the MK Fortrex 101 and the repair shop fixed it....only problem is that it seems he put the head of the unit 180 degrees opposite from the original position.
Now, I have to loosen the collar and turn the head around 180 degrees everytime before launching the boat to get the head aligned with the foot so the pedal operates in the optimum range. Before I travel home, I have to turn it again to keep the cable from sticking out of the side of the boat. If I leave it in the optimum control range, I am afraid the cable will snag.
Not sure if this make sense, but how do you adjust the head/cable of the unit to be in line with the foot and keep it in the optiumum control range and the cable pointed inward?
