NWTF 2014 Pistol of the year

I won a Remington 1911 45 pistol tonight at the turkey banquet. Any one have any idea what it is worth? I don't have it yet so I don't know the specifics of it.

Not a very desirable piece. It is heavy, ammo is scarce and the whole unit is pretty much ugly. But, being that I am a generous person, I'll give ya' $50 to take it off your hands.

    Honestly, great gun and congratulations!

Depends on which model you are getting. I'm guessing it may be the lower end which will be somewhere between $600-$700.

Nice! Depending on the model, finish, etc... $700-$900ish.

it's worth enough to keep it. Unless you need money, it will only increase in value.

Shoot that sucker! It's only a paperweight if ya don't shoot them. I have heard some positive feedback on the Remington 1911 especially for the price.

Look on gunbroker and you can get an idea of what they are worth. I would say $600-$900 depending on the model.

Congrats! I won the Ducks Unlimited gun of the year last year, it was a Para Ordnance 1911 .45 DU limited edition, its worth around $1300 from what I've seen them go for online.
