I'm an Auburn fan, and Saban runs the most disiplined football team in the Country. He has a wit about him, but arrogance didn't get him all those National Championships. Don't forget he got one at LSU. Now LSU has an arrogant coach.. LOL Miles from a National Championship...

He already tried and failed badly but the Miami Dolphins dont pay their players as much as Alabama does.

well we're about 26.5 hrs away from seeing how this all plays out. Think the tide will be affected by the Fluker reports? Or will they still roll? Seems the manziel stories have hushed since last saturday. It is Friday though....I'm sure there'll be at least 1 bar open in college station....and maybe one or 2 fraternity parties to go to

Wonder how many guys remember that Gene Stallings coached at both A&M and Alabama, as did Paul "Bear" Bryant.

What is really sad is our local paper decided on 9/11 that a feature on the front page of Bear Bryant was better than talking about 9/11. Plus I have had too many bad experiences with Bama fans in this town. I know not all are like that but its enough that I will never cheer for them.

9/11/2001 was 12 years ago, and it's something we'll never forget. But it's time to go about our lives in 2013. 9/11, shouldn't take up a full front page any longer as it's history.

Alabama and Auburn football also shouldn't be front page news 9 months out of the year. It's recreation, not life and death.

I'm the only guy around that buys hats and a red shirts at Dollar General without the Big A on it. And I'm also sick of the color orange and that damned fight song, Rocky Top. But it's nice living where the team is a winner. I'll hate the day the quality of teams lessen, as it won't be a good day for the state.

Theres always a story about The Bear on 9/11. This year it wouldve been his 100th birthday so of course in the state of Alabama there was going to be allsorts of publications about him. And in this state also, Bama and auburn will always be front page news. That I dont think will ever change...

Gene Stallings was one of the original junction boys under Bryant at texas a@m ,also on the board of trustees at a@m, its becoming a great rivalry. Also franchione left alabama for a@m. Bear Bryant left a@m for alabama famously when he said "mama called". He also played for Alabama in the 1930s . He did put those boys through hell in junction. They even played that movie tonight "the junction boys"
