Big bass shocked up at Cedar Creek Lake in Kentucky.

Look what the biologists shocked up at Cedar Creek Lake, KY. Thought folks would like to see it.

Hard to judge weight, seems like it's held pretty close to the camera. Whatever it weighs, it is a PIG.

23 1/2" but they did not weigh it before releasing it. It was on Kentucky Department of fish and wildlife's facebook page a few weeks ago. They had it coming out of Corinth Lake. That's a monster.

I hate to see an eyeball that size in someone else's bag waiting for the scales.

Sorry about getting the lake wrong. Thanks for correcting. Friend sent it to me. That is a huge fish for Corinth Lake, too.

No doubt it is huge. I have seen that pic on other sites saying it was Cedar also. It has generated a lot of interest in Cornith. The ramp was or still is under construction so that has kept the fishing pressure down this year.

I'll tell you what fella's...if you ever get the chance to go out and help the DFG with their research...DO IT. I was fortunate to be able to go 3 different times to 3 different lakes here in San Diego. All of them were at night time. It is an absolute rush and a thrill. When you trip the kick pedal and the electricity hits the water and you see the fish roll over... It's called popcorning. All the fish turn the white belly up and it looks like popcorn going off in the water.

It's pretty bad when even the biologists are long-arming the fish.

It is a nice fish, but at that length I don't think it would go 8 pounds.

Everytime I make my mark, someone always paints the wall!
