    ACLU vs. US Marines

    OORAH!!
    ACLU vs. US Marines
THIS NEEDS TO GO AROUND THE USA MANY TIMES SO KEEP IT GOING!

If you look closely at the picture above, you will note that all the Marines pictured are bowing their heads. That's because they're praying. This incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring the birthday of the corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms. "These are federal employees," says Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the ACLU, "on federal property and on federal time.. For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we must nip this in the bud immediately."
When asked about the ACLU's charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for the Commandant of the Corps said (cleaned up a bit), "Screw the ACLU." GOD Bless Our Warriors. Send the ACLU to France !
Please send this to people you know so everyone will know how stupid the ACLU is getting in trying to remove GOD from everything and every place in America May God Bless America , One Nation Under GOD!
What's wrong with the picture? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
    GOD BLESS YOU FOR
PASSING IT ON! I am sorry but I am not breaking this one....Let us pray

Prayer chain for our Military...please don't break it
THIS NEEDS TO GO AROUND THE USA MANY TIMES SO KEEP IT GOING

Lets put the ALCU in combat for a few weeks and then see what their beliefs would be...............Remember their tremendous sacrfice!!!!

    snopes.com: ACLU and Praying Marines

    That is from 2003.

The Internet in the wrong hands can be dangerous. Nice of you to pass it along though. I am sure there are many that will forward this unbelievable injustice and the BBC will be at the forefront of stopping it.

Oh, and the second picture... Not Marines. Unless something has changed, we don't wear unit insignia on our uniform.

Oh yeah. It is OORAH. Not HOORAH. But you are a patriot and will not break the chain, so you already knew that...

Yes the last pic was added for a PRAYER CHAIN for our Military, that meaning all branches - as they have all Sacrificed to protect the USA

God had nothing to do with that ridiculous post nine years ago. The fact that some will blindly forward stuff without the most basic check is pretty scary. Very mainstream media like.

You seem to me to be against our country and GOD. The whole meaning behind the post was to to get people to pray for our Military and country. Are you atheist, why not pack your stuff and move out of this country. Just remember the men and women the died for you to have the right to voice your opinion.

Classic. Set up a strawman, get outraged at it and then flame the messenger that points out its a strawman. Well done.

I don't get that from his post at all. Why the shrill comeback? He is making some valid points...

Early Happy Birthday to the Marines I can honestly say we said a prayer before each mission. I can also say that every mission we had written on the side of our truck the words Psalms 91 we never got hit. Once command made us remove it as to not inflame the muslims, we got hit...ALOT. Coincidence?? I dunno. I for one felt alot better when prayers was said before we left a base starting a mission.

My father, retired military in 1967 with 29+ years of service was not overly religious but he told me, "There are no atheists in a foxhole".
