    Steering problems....... Help!!

On my 95 P2 with 200HP Mariner, the steering failed yesterday. Luckily I was approaching the ramp and was able to load boat via trolling motor. The steering wheel just turns freely without turning motor. Motor cannot be turned manually which makes me think that hydraulic fluid is still present. There is no indication of hydraulic fluid leaks. Anybody have an idea why this might have happened or how to go about fixing it???

    Thanks
    Mike

Have a professional technician check it out, one you trust.

Mike, It sounds like you have a problem in your helm pump. Call me today and I'll have you check a couple of things with me on the phone to determine the problem and get it fixed, Butch 813-785-7146
