Welcome! Some TLC and that will be a good fishing boat. How is the structure of the transom and stringers? Looks like a good project.

thanks guys! to my amazment the inside of the hull was in great shape! the wood supports have been well mantained even though it was out in the elements for a lil while..the wood has all been fiberglassed over for protecton and strength... i still plan to add a lil more fiberglass just so its new.. im getting the plywood and carpet today and hopefully some new seats...

is there any type of marine grade spray paint? i emailed a few paint body shops to see what they would say...i pretty much want to get all the blue on to of the boat i want it white...

Re: 1978 glastron tri-hull bass boat project (Mr. Bass)

anyone know where i can find the pumps on this boat? so far i cant seem to see them..all the hoses are routed in the boat for live wells and what know and i can follow them all the ay to the back of the boat but then they go behind a blind spot and i cant see anymore.. im pretty sure the boat has them i think there just deep in the bottom where i can see..there is no batt. in the boat so i cant just flip the switch to see if i hear it, which would probley be the only way id actually know if i cant see...

anyone on here own this type/year boat?

ok guys well heres a lil update on the boat.. i started rippin up the carpet to get the boat ready for painting

i also went and got the carpet and the wood for the floor..

and here i was just messin around with some spray paint to see how easy it would be to rattle can it.. it didnt come out that bad! lol and all that has to be painted is the concel and the top trim around the boat. i plan on carpeting most of the boat and a lot of spots that wernt covered will be so thats less paint..we will see

I sold that boat almost two years ago, it was a tri hull so with the prop and motor that was on it it did just over 50, not bad I guess for a boat built before I was born.
